Permanent jewelry is the latest jewelry trend and a fix to a problem for jewelry lovers everywhere… lost jewelry! It’s basically a chain without a clasp custom fit for you!

Your chosen chain is custom fit and then micro-welded for a seamless look. The process only takes about 15 minutes, is safe, painless, easy, and fun! But, because each is custom fit, an appointment is required.

You can choose bracelets, anklets, or necklaces. We offer a wide selection of 14K gold filled and .925 sterling silver chains and charms to choose from. The chains are dainty but durable enough for daily wear and can be easily stacked with your other jewelry.

Because of the price point, we do not carry sold or white gold options in studio, but we can special order it. Special request orders would require an appointment to determine the chain choice and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the cost.

We use high quality .925 purity sterling silver and 14K gold filled.

Pure silver is not susceptible to tarnish in a pure oxygen environment. However, the copper that is contained in 925 sterling silver may react to ozone and hydrogen sulfide in the air and cause silver to tarnish. Perfumes, hair sprays, and profuse sweating can also cause a quicker formation of tarnish. You won’t be able to 100% prevent tarnish from forming but it is less likely with permanent jewelry because you wear it continuously. The oils in your skin will help “clean” the sterling silver as you wear it. If any tarnish is noticed, you can simply buff it or use a soft toothbrush and mild soap to clean it.

Gold filled jewelry has most of the benefits of solid gold, without the high price tag and is great for everyday wear. It is not just plated, it consists of 2-3 layers of solid gold (bonded or pressed) with a base metal such as brass, silver, copper, or other base metal. It is a better alternative to gold plated as it won’t tarnish and is much more durable.

Permanent jewelry is durable but not indestructible. The daintier the chain, the more fragile it can be. If the break is at the weld site on the jump ring, we guarantee this and would re-weld it at no charge for as long as you have your jewelry piece. But permanent jewelry can be broken or damaged just like any other piece of jewelry and, therefore, we cannot guarantee the chain. See CE Permanent Jewelry Policy for more details.

No problem! You can make an appointment at CE and we can safely remove it for you, or you can simply cut it at the jump ring with nail clippers. But be sure to keep your chain if you plan on putting it back on. We can re-weld it for a small reweld fee.

No. It is like any other jewelry, you do not have to remove it to go through security.

Depending on your lifestyle, activity, and external factors, your jewelry can last a very long time. Although our pieces are durable, they are not indestructible and can be damaged. Therefore, we recommend following a few basic guidelines to help avoid problems and extend its life.

You can bathe, shower, swim, and enjoy your normal activities. You will need to make sure to clean your jewelry with mild soap and water at least weekly and anytime after working out, spray tanning or exposing it to high levels of chlorine. Sterling silver will also need periodic polishing. Lotions and creams can build up inside the links making it look dull or tarnished, simply use a soft toothbrush and mild soap and clean it.
